Nice to meet you, my name is Élisabeth Bourcier and I am from Nice. I’ve been in French education for more than 30 years, and I am extremely passionate about my profession and my region. I have created Learn in Nice to share my passion with you, and to support you in learning
French and discovering the culture.

I welcome you to Nice! Where I will support and guide you during your stay to discover our beautiful region and its heritage, all while speaking and improving your French.
A stay on the Côte d’Azur including:
1- Learning the language: 2 to 3 hours of daily lessons. Content of the sessions adapted to your level and based on the day’s visit: presentation of the chosen theme and communication training around this subject (dialogues, listening comprehension, vocabulary, review of a grammar point, work on pronunciation)
2- Practice through cultural activities:
I will take you through the Old Town of Nice, the Cours Saleya and its flower market, the Château hill to discover the history of this magnificient city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End your day on the famous Promenade des Anglais.
Nice cuisine
Aude will welcome you to her workshop to introduce you to the Niçoise cuisine. First, we will go to one of the oldest markets to buy local products, before emark on our cooking journey. Together we will make delicious recipes, and of course, you will taste them and discover all the new flavors.
Visit Grasse: the international capital of perfumery
You will visit the famous and captivating Fragonard perfumery, which dates back to 1926. Discover the manufacturing techniques and the history of perfumes. And if you desire, you can even create your own perfume to bring back a very personal souvenir from your journey through the land of flowers.
Monaco: enter a world of luxury and refinement
After a stroll through the narrow streets of the famous Rocher, we will arrive at the Palace of the Prince to witness the changing of the guard and to visit the Prince’s living quarters.
Next, we will head to the Place du Casino, a must-visit for gaming enthusiasts, where you can try your luck at the slot machines !
Sea lovers will opt for the Oceanographic Museum, where magnificent aquariums await them.
Finally, automobile enthusiasts can explore the private collection of Prince Rainier.
In the summer, enjoy an evening in a Château to taste the famous wines of Provence amidst the vineyards.
Let the evening captivate you with music, food trucks offering local products, and a wine bar featuring the distinguished and award winning wines from the Domaine.
It will be a festive evening for a true immersion in French culture !
The visiting schedule may vary depending on the seasons (for example the Nice Carnival in February, Cannes, Menton, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Fondation Maeght in St-Paul-de-Vence, Musée Picasso in Antibes…).
